Chartered Psychologist

Dr Anna Kenyon trained at City University in London and was awarded a Masters in Health Psychology (MSc) in 2002 and a Doctorate in Health Psychology (DPsych) in 2005.

Over the past 21 years Anna has worked within private and public sector organisations, providing support to employees and recommending methods to optimise occupational health and productivity. Anna has also worked for various organisations providing individual and group Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to individuals suffering from a variety of mental health conditions.

Over the past 16 years working, Anna has built up a successful private practice at The Psychology Clinic in Farnham. Her main therapeutic approaches are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Compassion Focussed Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). Anna has a special interest in trauma-related conditions and anxiety and the associated disorders.

Dr Ailsa Brennan

Dr Ailsa Brennan

Clinical Psychologist

Dr Ailsa Brennan completed her professional training at Coventry and Warwick Universities and qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2006. She has worked for the NHS in adult mental health services for over 20 years. Ailsa currently works as an Associate with the Psychology Clinic Farnham, in addition to working within the NHS.

She has extensive experience working with many types of psychological distress, in both adult in-patient and community mental health services within the NHS. She has particular expertise in working with people who have eating disorders, people who find it hard to regulate their emotions, people who are highly self-critical or shame prone, and those impacted by trauma.

Ailsa works integratively drawing upon Compassion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Mindfulness based approaches. She is also interested in more creative ways of working that incorporate drama and movement.
